Meet your physiotherapist
Physiotherapist.
Researcher. Lifter.
I’m ZIZI. I bring clinical reasoning and exercise physiology to the practical demands of lifting, endurance training and everyday life.
My background
Clinical care,
powered by research.
I’m an HCPC-registered physiotherapist with an MSc in Physiotherapy from the University of East Anglia and a BSc in Sports and Exercise Science from Lancaster University.
Clinically trained at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge University Hospitals, I bring NHS experience across musculoskeletal, respiratory and stroke rehabilitation.
My research training at the University of Oxford’s Nuffield Department of Orthopaedics, Rheumatology and Musculoskeletal Sciences (NDORMS) spanned joint fibrosis, inflammatory arthritis and evidence synthesis.
I am now a pre-doctoral researcher at the Institute of Sports Medicine, Peking University, studying musculoskeletal imaging and clinical outcomes.

I study training.
I train too.
Before physiotherapy, I worked in personal training and strength coaching. My undergraduate research used treadmill testing to compare running power, heart rate and perceived effort with oxygen consumption.
That foundation shapes how I think about intensity, fatigue and progression. Powerlifting and running are part of my own life, and I understand why getting back to a training session matters.
I work with you in English or Mandarin, connecting the assessment with a plan you understand and can put into practice.
